Mitch Wojcik
Master Dog Trainer
My name is Mitch, and I am a Marine Corps and law enforcement veteran with a passion for training dogs and their owners. My focus is on providing practical skills, clear communication, and educating owners to help them achieve long-lasting, reliable results.
I began my professional dog training career in 2022 at the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers, where I was the first in my class to graduate from the Professional Program. In 2025, I earned my Master Dog Trainer certification through Highland Canine LLC’s School for Dog Trainers, graduating as Valedictorian and achieving the highest overall academic score in my class.
During my training, I received several academic and service awards, including:
• Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society (4.0 GPA)
• Honor Graduate (3.8 GPA or higher)
• Academic Distinction for top performance in both the Service Dog and Detection Dog programs
• Shelter Ambassador Award for volunteer service supporting local animal shelters
• Veteran Graduate Award, recognizing military service and leadership
• Student Excellence Award for completion of a ten-part extracurricular challenge program

The first puppy my husband and I purchased together was not your typical beginner’s breed. He was a Dutch Shepherd / Belgian Malinois with high energy and was always one move ahead of us. We wish we would have had the knowledge and skills that we do now, back then to be able to train him and gain a better relationship with him. I started Top Dog Training because I want to be able to give our clients the confidence and proficiency to have a better connection with their dog.
